Strawberry Rhubarb Sauce

Here is a really easy recipe for a tangy, tart and sweet berry sauce that can be paired with anything from ice-cream to scones or cakes and so on.






Strawberry Rhubarb Sauce

Serves 8-10Print This Recipe


1 pint strawberries, washed and chopped

2 stalks of rhubarb, washed and chopped

¼ water

1 tbsp. sugar



• Combine all the above ingredients in a small saucepan.

• Bring to a boil and then reduce heat.

• Simmer for 10 minutes.

• Let the mixture cool down and liquidize with a hand blender.

• This sauce keeps in the fridge for a few weeks.
