I just discovered the easiest, yummiest fish dish at my parents good friend, Guddi aunty’s house. She used this wonderful fish spice rub called Lahori Fish Mix by Shan. It is available in any of the local Indian grocery stores in the New York area.
7-8 fillets of firm white fish such as sole, flounder or tilapia
2 heaped tablespoons of lahori fish mix
5-6 tablespoons of water
- Mix the 5-6 tablespoons of water with the spice mix to form a semi thick marinade.
- Marinate the fish fillets for 15-20 minutes.
- Pan fry the marinated fillets for about 2 minutes per side till the fish is cooked.
