Aunty Pen’s Pork Fried Rice

This is a really easy and quick fried rice recipe. You can substitute the pork with any meat of your choice.

Aunty Pen’s Pork Rice

Cooking time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

½ lb thin sliced pork

2 tbsp. oyster sauce

1 tsp fish sauce

7-8 cloves garlic, chopped

 4 cups of day old cooked rice

Salt and pepper to taste

 

Method:

• Marinate the sliced pork with oyster sauce and fish sauce for 15 – 20 minutes.

 

• Heat 2 tbsp. oil in a wok.

 

• Add the garlic and stir for 30 seconds.

 

• Add the pork.

 

• Stir until meat is cooked.

 

• Add the rice and mix well.

 

• You can add any kind of chopped greens (like spinach, swiss chard, bok choi)

 

• Add salt and pepper to taste and serve rice hot.
